The subject is part of the professional core material, for chemistry students in the 2nd semester, for bioengineers a compulsory subject taught in the 3rd semester. Its task is to develop and shape the engineering perspective of students studying at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, and to teach the mechanical engineering knowledge necessary for chemical engineers. This helps to acquire professional knowledge aimed at developing, designing and operating technological systems, which is included among the professional competencies to be acquired.

This subject introduces you to the basics of technical representation, as well as the measurement of basic quantities and machines used in mechanical engineering practice, through the acquisition of representation skills. In addition to acquiring the above knowledge, the goal is to introduce the measurement technique routine and the documentation of results.
