Individual project 1.

BMEGEVGBG06

Briefly about the subject

The aim of the course is to develop students’ independent problem solving skills through a complex computational/measurement/design task. At the beginning of the semester, the student chooses one of the advertised tasks, which is worked out together with the tutor in an informal schedule. At the end of the semester, the students will present a summary presentation and a mini-poster on the project, the tasks carried out and the results achieved.

All Process Engineering specialization students enroll in the course under the supervision of the HDR Department, but they may choose a project at any of the FOUR DEPARTMENTS of the specialization (ARA, EGR, ÉPGET, HDS).
During the registration period, students have the opportunity to browse the student projects announced by the individual departments and select the project(s) they are interested in. Students must contact the supervisor listed for the chosen project by email or in person and discuss whether the project is available and whether they have the required background knowledge, etc.
If the supervisor agrees to the collaboration and both parties reach an agreement, the project choice can be considered final. Each student must then register in Neptun for the course section corresponding to the department where the topic was announced and where their supervisor works.

The project topics announced by the HDR Department are available here: https://www.hds.bme.hu/en/education/assignments/
