Individual Project I. - BMEGEVGBG06

The subject is a compulsory subject of the BSc Process Engineering specialization.

The subject develops the student’s individual project management and problem-solving skills via working out a problem in the field of numerical simulation/measurement/design. The topics are complex engineering tasks. The students have to choose a topic (with a given supervisor) from those offered by the departments. During the semester the students have to work out the topic individually (literature survey, definition and solution of the problem, written summary of the results) in flexible working hours, guided by the supervisor.

All students register for this subject, and can choose assignments in any of the FOUR DEPARTMENTS (ARA, EGR, ÉPGET, HDR) of the specialization.

During the registration week, students have the opportunity to browse through the student assignments posted in each department and select the assignment(s) they like.

Students have to contact the supervisor listed next to the task by email or in person and discuss with him/her whether the task is free, whether they have the necessary knowledge, prerequisites, etc. If the supervisor accepts the joint work, then the choice of project can be considered final.

All students must apply for the course within the subject where they found the topic, where their supervisor works.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS of each department are available on the links in the RELATED PAGES menu from the 1st day of the registration week at the latest.
